Collaboration is Key
As an engineer, you’ll often find yourself in the position to work on a project with an array of individuals, often a dedicated team. In these situations, the ability to collaborate and share ideas back and forth is key. However, often I’ve noticed that these collaborations are often done in the most inefficient ways possible, e.g. emailing .zip files of project files rather than use version control software such as Subversion, Mercurial, or Git. In the connected age, why is it that inclusive and intuitive collaboration is still left in the Stone Ages?
Put simply, constantly seek to find new ways to share and collaborate on ideas and projects. It helps everyone involved.
